NEFIN stage protest program against new constitution of Nepal, 2015:Indigenous Voice Episode 28

Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NEFIN), an umbrella organization of Nepalese Indigenous Peoples organizations stage protest program against new constitution, organizing various protest programs. NEFIN officials have argued that New Constitution of Nepal 2015, neither the state restructuring process set forth in the constitution is not indigenous peoples friendly. With the demand to amend some of the provisions of new Constitutions to ensure indigenous peoples rights as per the ILO Convention no. 169 and UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP), NEFIN has submitted the memos to various political party leaders and political parties.
